Stephen Colbert, host of “The Late Show on CBS,” has flown out to Russia to film material for his late-night arrangement, as indicated by The Hollywood Reporter.
The late-night have tweeted a photo of himself in Russia Thursday, in light of President Trump’s tweets. In those tweets, the president said that he didn’t record discussions with previous FBI Director James Comey in the Oval Office.
Colbert’s tweet said that “if the “tapes” exist,” he’d bring Trump back a duplicate.
Following weeks of theory after Trump indicated at the likelihood of taped discussions with Comey, the president expressed he “didn’t make” and doesn’t have any recordings of private discussions.
“With the greater part of the as of late announced electronic observation, captures, unmasking and unlawful spilling of data, I have no clue whether there are “tapes” or recordings of my discussions with James Comey, yet I didn’t make, and don’t have, any such recordings,” Trump wrote in a couple of tweets.
TRUMP SLAMS STEPHEN COLBERT, CALLS HIM A “Dirty,” ‘NO-TALENT GUY’
Colbert has a great time at Trump, most prominently a month ago when the ‘Late Night’ have made a joke about Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The disputable joke was controlled on-air, which incited dissensions and an online networking effort for CBS to flame Colbert.
