Brian Goff Missing – Belmont County Sheriff David Lucas affirmed Thursday evening that the groups of two individuals who had been absent for over three years have been recuperated.
Also, during a public interview Thursday in Jefferson County, Sheriff Fred Abdalla said the remaining parts of Brian Goff, 64, and Joni Davis, 55, were found Thursday inside the vehicle that they were most recently seen in — Goff’s light blue 1990 Oldsmobile Delta 88.
Two or three was most recently seen on June 10, 2018, leaving a Pizza Hut on National Road in St. Clairsville. Goff was Davis’ parental figure. Davis recently experienced a horrendous mind injury.
The revelation was made by an Illinois-based plunge group working in the Ohio River close to Rayland. The vehicle was found in the Ohio River between 1 and 2 miles north of the Rayland Marina, Abdalla said. The profundity of the water the vehicle was in was around 8 feet.
Abdalla said they don’t have a reason for death as the remaining parts should be forensically considered by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
