Oakbrook Mall Twitter – Police say a shooting happened at a shopping center brimming with Christmas customers in rural Chicago Thursday, Dec. 23, harming four individuals.

The episode at Oakbrook Center in Oak Brook started with two individuals engaged in a shootout in a hall.

Police Chief James Kruger says the wounds were not perilous.

Kruger says three individuals who were shot may have been hit by deflecting slugs.

One individual was in care, and police were searching for another suspect.

The open-air shopping center is a significant shopping objective around 15 miles west of Chicago.

Customers who were met as they were step by step delivered say they hid in stores and changing areas.

CBS 58/Telemundo Wisconsin’s Alexis Dominguez was at the shopping center when it happened and luckily was safe.
